Day 2 (Edinburgh): Arthur's Seat

Not much to say of today. Still trying to adjust from the jet lag. Today we hiked Arthur's Seat. Got a pint and a malt at the Sheep Heid Inn, which has been operating continuously since 1360 and serves old-money patrons (the kind who wear sweaters jauntily tied about the shoulders after a game of doubles or a Sunday drive in the boxster). Still pretty whacked out due to lack of sleep. Some of the pictures are funky but cool due to the camera having been dropped a few times too many.
Nothing like a hostel room with a view.

Still working off the jet lag.

Chapel ruins.

Atop Arthur's Seat.

Switchbacks on the way down.
